I'm a farm girl at heart, having growing up in Naramata (aka Nevermatters) B.C. in the wine riddled, deep laked Okanagan valley, surrounded by my hippy parents' ecclectic coffee house music tastes, and playing piano and sax myself. I won the non-profit lottery when I got the job as Executive Director (aka Big Cheese) at Head & Hands / A deux mains in Montreal. We turned the big 4-0 this year and were so pumped to have a big fancy grassroots gala with special musical guests from Montreal: Matthew Daher trio, Lake of Stew and Socalled. Look 'em up.
