For the longest time, I listened to my own large collection of music on iTunes day in and day out. I was dimly aware of R3's early days but hadn't realized it had finally become a 24hr radio affair. My primary new source of music has been another public radio station: Alberta's CKUA. I highly recommend CKUA for the quality and variety of music they present.
In summer 2010, I started an internship at a tech firm in the Bay area and had to use a company computer, which meant I was disconnected from my own collection. I found R3 and CKUA on the iTunes radio streams and, before long, I was listening to R3 full time! Now, I've started to go to a lot of Canadian artists' concerts and am becomming R3's unofficial Chicago ambassador :)
Join me in Chicago, and let's start OR3D !
