i began to point a camera with considerable purpose in 1973. still do. i'd descibe myself as a proud father, social documentary stillfilm artist, bushpunk and shit disturber. i support pro-active, peaceful endeavor, voluntary simplicity and organic everything. i like my music loud and live, women brilliant and friends, true. i shot 'green room' for some of the major record companies out west from 1988-91, art directed/photographed a precident setting, desktop computer produced, no-strip cmyk magazine in 1990, published and released 20,000 copies of a prototype, 96 page, independent canadian content music magazine in toronto in 1993 (the majors hated me) and designed/published an online urban lifestyle magazine in 2001. i also was the national director of photography, prodution & design/contributing photographer on a best selling portrait book to benifit AIDS/C.A.N.F.A.R. in 1995 in addition to holding the same position for photographers & friends united against AIDS. i'm currently working on a projects about our kinship and another about street culture.
