Robert Shea’s music and deejaying career has spanned 27 years, and includes gigs all over North America and overseas in Frankfurt (guest with Sven Väth at the legendary Omen Club) and Ultraschall Munich. His classy and cohesive set merges the most sophisticated "techie" house with a groovy, funky minimalism, and delivers a blast of fresh hedonistic grooves that pumps crowds into both house and techno.

He hosted and guested on radio programs since 1984, including the Big Show, Crack Rhythm and Homebass.

Robert ran independent Canadian record label Map Music in Vancouver from 1996 - 2002. On Map, he released the seminal "Welcome To Lotus Land" compilation, featuring unique collaborations by Vancouver's finest electronic music producers. Map then released 4 full length CDs by Mere Mortals, Pilgrims of the Mind, Phil Western, and Cooldown, all of which received critical acclaim.

Before setting up his label and booking tours for his European peers (SVEN VATH, HARDFLOOR, etc.) he spent time in the American music biz working for Silent/Pulse Soniq (San Francisco) and as HARTHOUSE Label Manager for Eye Q (Los Angeles). For the latter, he conceived and compiled the seminal West Coast compilation "Pacific Rhythm" and released "Everest" by Vancouver duo OFF AND GONE, the only North American act to be signed to Harthouse. Both albums were released worldwide to critical acclaim in 1996. Although he has run his own label, worked for other labels, managed artists, produced events, managed tours, produced and promoted music, it is through his deejaying that Robert’s true passion for cool new sounds is expressed.
