Brian Simms has been a fixture on the Ottawa scene for more than a decade. If you've heard his name mentioned, chances are it's been during the "introducing the band" part of the set. The self-taught guitarist is the person people call on to fill out their band. Ask around and you'll hear him praised for being the musician's musician. He is versatile, a quick study and content not to be the star. Brian keeps himself busy on the Ottawa pub circuit as a solo artist, and still finds time to back up his faves in a live or studio capacity; as well as some voice acting with the Mayfair Theatre Players.Most recently Brian has been a part of the 'Ottawa for Haiti' earthquake relief project and is very proud to have one of his tracks appearing on this compilation alongside many Ottawa greats.New tracks up now!!!
