Tariq has been writing / recording songs since 1995 and has four full-length albums and one Juno nomination to his name. Lately, he's been busy writing and touring as a member of the Vancouver band Brasstronaut in which he plays guitar and lap steel. He is currently busy cooking up a batch of new songs for a solo release in 2011 as well. He can be heard regularly on CBC Radio 3, hosting shows about Canadian music.
