A man of many talents. Not only as an emcee, but as an industry professional, artist and entrepreneur.
Smart started out as a bboy in the mid 90′s dancing with the crew “Body Language”. Around that same time, Smart was really getting into graffiti, trains, photography, music, and anything to do with creativity (thanks to his new found crew.)
Late 90′s Smart joined the crew D.B.P. and painted his way to respect, throughout the North American Hip Hop Community. Once Smart was starting to get more involved with the national movements such as Under Pressure, Style In Progress, 416, etc… He wanted to do his part in promoting the true side of the culture, so he started Smart Promotions.
While his love grew for the culture Smart Understood he needed to take on the hole culture to be able to enjoy and understand it to it’s fullest. So here we are now 12 years later; Smart is now a member of the notorious crew Sound Improvement as one of their crowd pumping emcee’s.
Accomplishments include; Judge at the 2010 Juno's, teaching graffiti at Loyalist College and community workshops on music and art, managed for three time Juno winner Moka Only. Has done hundreds of shows with his crew Sound Improvement, directed/produced more than 10 music videos including one for Moka Only and a PSA with platinum Canadian artist Classified from Sony/Halflife Records.
Smart has also worked with artists such as Moka Only, D-sisive, Swollen Members, Empire, Eternia, Spesh K, NECRO, Bishop TGM Brigante, Metty The DertMerchant of Sweatshop Union, and many more; he is still going strong.
