I've been playing music since the time I was 6, starting with piano lessons, but never invested much time into music until I was 12 and started playing guitar. I began listening very heavily to 60's and 70's music, mostly old vinyls of my father's and even started playing cello when I was 13. I jammed occasionally with friends and joined an orchestra when I was 14 andl played in the school jazz band. When I was fifteen I began singing along with my guitar and began listening to music from the new canadian-indie scene. Inspired by the songwriting and instrumentation of the indie scene I bought my own recording equipment and began experimenting with recording at home. With the ability to capture songs I began to focus more on song-writing and arranging. I continue to learn and am eager to work on any projects offered.
