Natalia Cabrera, born in Argentina, has performed internationally since 2005 with such well known artists as Zakiya Hooker (daughter of Blues Great John Lee Hooker) performing in Concerts and Festivals with Jerry Lee Lewis, UB 40, the Blues Brothers and the Wailers to name just a few.
After studying photography she attended Escuela de Blues and Conservatorio de Avellaneda to study music. Her creative interpretive gift began as a child in Buenos Aires. She performed as a background singer for Argentinean greats King size and Pappo.
Natalia’s creative process and music begins with rhythms. As the music grows she adds lyrics that tell stories of lovers, joy, heartache and revenge. Her love for North American Roots music, Blues, Gospel, Jazz and Rock'n Roll enrich Montuno’s sound with a modern flare. The stories come in the rhythmic forms of Tango, Flamenco, Cumbia, Bossa Nova and Latin Jazz.
Natalia’s exotic and comic flair on the stage drives the fun of dance and emotions necessary for audiences to empathize deeply with her presence. Her innate elegance and love of the theatrical create an ambiance of romance and togetherness while moving audiences to the dance floor.
