I'm an assistant producer at CBC Radio 2 and I sometimes guest host the Drive or Morning show.
I grew up with the highlife music of Ghana, where my parents and I were born. My parents were also into jazz, Afro funk, a little country and a lot of Anne Murray.
I like house, hip hop, salsa, jazz, Afro funk, reggae and blues. I have a fantasy to sing like the female singer-songwriters who come to our studios (think Kathleen Edwards, Jenn Grant, Feist). One day.
If we're having a drink, ask me to tell you why my mother knew all the words to the Beatles' "Don't Let Me Down" when we played Rock Band last Christmas. She said it makes her think of her hometown in Accra.
