Matthew McFarlane works for both Saturday Afternoon at the Opera and In Concert on CBC Radio 2 as well as for CBC Music. He's the quizmaster for In Concert. He's also an amateur cellist, and loves all music, having recorded for CBC everything from bluegrass to contemporary opera. Outside of music, his interests include mushrooms, maps and muppets. He's also the beer columnist for CBC's BC weekend morning show, North by Northwest.
