With loop pedal, fiddle and voice, sonic weaver Hannah Epperson creates intricate and moving musical landscapes. As a stirring solo performer and talented collaborative artist, she has joined forces with a versatile cast of some of Western Canada's favourites in the indie and folk scenes, including Miss Emily Brown, The Zolas, Aidan Knight, Said the Whale, Morlove, and electro-pop sensations Top Less Gay Love Tekno Party, to name just a few. Hannah's collaborative history has included many politically and socially charged mixed-media explorations, including collaborations with theatrical, visual, and musical artists including the beloved Mind Of A Snail Puppet Co.
In Vancouver, she is a regular at Café Montmartre and thrills in busking around the beaches of English Bay at dusk. But it was in Berlin where Hannah cut her solo teeth busking under derelict bridges and alongside quiet canals. From Berlin, Hannah got her first taste of the musician's life playing country rock with the Runaway Brides, touring through Scandinavia with the bluegrass band Wabash, andcasting her enchanting aural spells under the dim lights of Kreuzberg's cafes.
After her incredibly successful debut in the B.C. Festival circuit in the summer of 2011, Hannah continues to build a reputable name for herself amongst Vancouver's “Super Group” of indie musicians.
