Denise Benson is a Toronto-based journalist/broadcaster, award-winning DJ and event producer long into championing diverse electronic sounds.
For two decades, she’s been one of Canada’s top sources for info about emerging artists and trends, digging in deep through her weekly columns for Eye Weekly (now The Grid) and projects including the long running Mental Chatter program on CKLN FM (1987-2008). She has also contributed to lovely music nerd hubs including Exclaim! and Resident Advisor, is a longstanding Polaris Music Prize juror, and loves to share new musical obsessions.
