Music has always been a big part of my life. I grew up listening to all types of music (Dean Martin, Johnny Cash, Al Hirt, Chopin, Peggy Lee, Chet Atkins, George Jones, Wagner, Harry Hibbs, Don Messer, Holst, top 40s, gospel) ... Thanks Dad... and thank you Bugs Bunny for my love of classical music. Happy to have been a teenager in the 70s... the music truly was amazing and still is. I am not an expert in anything... except knowing what I like. I'm terrible at remembering album names, details etc. I don't play any instruments. I was lucky enough to be blessed with a very talented son... all the music genes in our family pooled in him.
I also enjoy writing. Lately I've been trying my hand at mixed media "art"... I use that term loosely. Being creative is very therapeutic for me. I am enjoying exploring that side of me and leaving behind the accountant...weeeeeeeeeee!
And... I am proud to live on the "Darkside"...a.k.a. Dartmouth. The other side of the harbour from Halifax. Gateway to the beautiful Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia with miles and miles of beaches and crashing surf.... tons of shopping, restaurants, cheaper rent and amazing people... like Joel Plaskett!! ...my favourite guy...
p.s. I'm not that kind of groupie
