After graduating from York University in 2003 (Music/Education). My wife, Renee Cross, and I moved to Japan to teach English. While there I began my DJing career with residencies at Club ADD and Club Shaft. Soon after I had my first string of EPs and remixes released through the label TOTAL WIPES and it’s subsidiary Black Mamba Records. After returning to Canada in 2006 I began DJing at Purple Room (inside Revolution), Rude Lounge and other tri-city area with clubs with DJ AMPZ (Barry Rooke). Shortly afterward I became the head sound engineer, and an A&R Rep. for 4Play Trax. In November of 2008 Renee Cross and I launched Global Beat Productions. Since then we have been giving world music seminars and performances in schools and at events. In July of 2009 we launched www.tigersuit.com to bring concert footage, and free music downloads to our fans. On July 4th 2009 I was an organizer and performer at the 2nd annual Beatroot Festival. An outdoor electronic music festival hosted by the World Rhythm collective.
