Born in Toronto, raised in Windsor and dragged to the States as a child, Russ has always been involved in music and radio. His college years revolved around live sound production for garage bands, interning for two FM stations and helping develop his college radio station into a well respected local gem, WHFR 89.3 FM.
Always a creative, innovative type, Russ is fondly remembered by his friends for trying to make music from race car sound samples and trying to make percussion instruments from golf clubs, failing miserably on both accounts.
For Russ, Indie music has always been a passion, Canadian Indie more recently. Russ is currently exploring live music photography since he has this brand new Nikon D5000. A quick wit with a sarcastic sense of humour, Russ occasionally types funny, sort of like Lewis Black meets Robin Miller.
