Hiya! I'm a PhD student in higher education at Michigan State University, about 90 minutes by car from Windsor. This summer I'm in Winnipeg for a policy internship with the Government of Manitoba. My brain and most of the rest of me may be in East Lansing, but my heart's in Canada (MA, Canadian History; BA, Canadian Studies). Hopefully once I finish, I'll successfully persuade a university or policy team in Toronto, Montréal, Ottawa, Tuktoyaktuk, etc., to take me on.
I've loved and listened to CBC Radio 3 since ever. It's like a tether connecting me to everything I love about the World Next Door. In particular, it keeps me company while I'm reading/writing for class and when I'm logging time in my cubicle at my assistantship. (Adding songs to my playlist is always a welcome diversion.) I got to go to See Vous Play back in '06 and really enjoyed the first Phog Phest last summer. The world's a better place with Radio 3 in it providing the soundtrack. Rock on!
