Toronto's Tafelmusik is known for adventurous explorations of baroque repertoire, and for House of Dreams they've once again created an imaginative exploration of life in the 17th century.

Created by Tafelmusik's own Alison Mackay, House of Dreams takes listeners on a fascinating journey through five homes where the music of J.S. Bach, Handel, Vivaldi and Marais would have been heard against a back-drop of some of the greatest masterpieces of the age - paintings by Vermeer, Canaletto and Watteau. This concert combines the music of the era, along with descriptive narration by Blair Williams. We're also offering an image gallery of some of the paintings that were projected during the live performance.
