Snowblink is Daniela Gesundheit and Dan Goldman and together they make a beautiful noise. This concert was recorded at The Music Gallery in Toronto and for those not familiar with The Music Gallery it is a music venue that uses the alter of St. George the Martyr Church as its stage and its pews for seats. There is no better place to see a Snowblink concert than this space.
We caught up with Snowblink at the release party for their sophomore record Inner Classics. The album was written over three seasons, starting with winter in a cotttage on the shore of Lake Erie and ending in the summer at a guest house in Malibu. So, as you might guess water plays a prominent role in the albums inspiration.
Dan and Daniela with band mebers Misha Bower, Amanda Penner, Mika Posen, Felicity Williams, Dan Gaucher and special guest vocalist Leslie Feist brought the soothing sounds of a snow covered Lake Erie and the crashing waves of a Malibu beach to a warm and receptive crowd for this special exlusive concert.
