A concert of contemporary chamber music from the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra's New Music Festival.

The music is by the festival's Distinguished International Guest composers, Kaia Saariaho and Valgeir Sigurdsson, Canadian composers Sophie Carmen Eckhardt-Gramatte & Vincent Ho (WSO Composer in Residence), and by the Dutch composer Jurriaan Andriessen. The concert featured several of Winnipeg's top chamber musicians, including violinists Gwen Hoebig (WSO concertmaster) & Oleg Pokhanovski, The WSO Clearwater String Quartet, ‘cellists Yuri Hooker & Minna Rose Chung, pianists David Moroz & Megumi Masaki, and organist/synthesist Tim Hecker.

Westminster United Church was completely filled with enthusiastic New Music fans.
