Toronto's Emilie-Claire Barlow is one of Canada's most loved jazz artists. We caught up with her as she launched her newest release called Seule ce soir (Alone Tonight) at Theatre L'Astral in Montreal. Barlow's ninth album - her first solely en français - presents new arrangements of songs she's recorded previously, along with a few new covers including "Petit matin" by Sylvain Lelièvre, "Croissants de soleil" by Ginette Reno and "La belle dame sans regret" by Sting.

In this recording, Barlow is masterfully accompanied by Reg Schwager on guitar, Ross MacIntyre on Bass, Mark Kieswetter on piano, Ethan Ardelli on drums, William Sperandei on trumpets, Kelly Jefferson on tenor sax and Bill McBirnie on flute.
