Elisapie Isaac is a Canadian pop singer who has worked as a broadcaster and film maker. Isaac's mother is Inuk and her father is from Newfoundland. She was adopted at birth by an Inuit family and raised in that culture. Her cradle: Salluit, Nunavik. For Elisapie, the North is not at the end of the earth; rather, it is at the centre. "My grandfather said that in order not to get lost, we must always look to where we came from,".

Isaac's first solo album, There Will Be Stars, was released in 2010 and went on to be a top seller in Quebec. In the fall of 2012, she dropped her last name and released the pop album Travelling Love as Elisapie. It is that album that she draws from for this wonderful live set from the CBC Music Festival.
