It's been 10 years since Cuff the Duke first emerged on the Canadian music scene. In that decade this bunch of alt-country boys have taken up a well-deserved position as a band to be reckoned with on Canada's national stage.

Some say they're the heir apparent to Blue Rodeo, and having Greg Keelor of Blue Rodeo fame produce their last two albums gives some weight to this speculation.  But Cuff the Duke has a sound and a style distinctly their own, and Wayne Petti's vocals somehow manage to simultaneouly ache and croon.

This concert was recorded while the band criss-crossed the country with their new album 'Morning Comes', which is the first installment of a double album.  The second part will be released a year from now.  In ‘Morning Comes', the band deals with issues of love, loss, death, and transitions, but don't let that make you think it's a downer.  It's full of catchy hooks, singalong melodies, and upbeat rhythms that make you feel good despite the subject matter.  In this concert from The Exchange in Regina you'll also hear some Cuff the Duke favorites from previous albums.
