"It was all a blur" says Colleen Brown of her CD release show at the Arden Theatre in St. Albert, Alberta. She vaguely recalls flubbing a piano part but can't recall if it was during rehearsal or the actual show. It has been that kind of whirlwind life lately for the singer-songwriter.  Recording, touring, promoting, touring, business to be done, it all blends together.

Once she hits the stage however Colleen Brown is consumed by the energy bubble of performance. Her nervous charm is endearing. If there is a flub the audience is oblivious. Her voice, her music, her songs captivate. The world is reduced to the dreams of an artist and those of us privileged to be within reach.
