My name is Jonny Melo. I'm currently studying Law at the University of Ottawa but I’ve been involved with music for most of my life. I've been writing and recording since I was in high school. This is my first full length solo album and it's a home grown and self produced work. I play mostly everything you hear on this album including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, percussion, lead vocals, backup vocals, piano, mandolin, harmonica and synths. I write, produce, record and master all the songs (with the exception of Forgot which was written by my friend Charity Dowdell). The entire album is free to download. I’ve taken some heat from my friends who think I should sell it but I respectfully disagree. The truth is that the music industry is changing rapidly and the market becomes increasingly flooded each and every day and it’s very difficult to attract listeners as a solo indie artist. So it’s yours. For free. All I ask is that you spread the word.
