Since 2007, Bignic has received widespread acclaim for his diverse
songwriting talents. In addition to having work placed on several compilation
albums, computer games, and a television pilot, he won the "Best Electronic"
award at the 2007 Ontario Independent Music Awards ("Inexplicable".)
In 2008 he followed it up with a "Best Electronic" award during the 2008 John
Lennon Songwriting Contest ("Phone") in addition to "Third Place Electronic" in
the 2008 International Songwriting Competition ("The End of Something Big".) He
was a Finalist in the 2008 Great Lakes Songwriting Contest and a Semi-Finalist
in the 2008 UK Songwriting Contest.
As 2009 winds down, Bignic has already managed to place three tracks on
compilation albums including the 2009 Game Developers Conference disc "Music to
Game By" and placed five songs in the Top 500 at the 16th Billboard World Song
Contest.
His fourth studio album, "The War on Peace" contains all of his award winning
tracks from the past three years and is available at his website (CD) or from BandCamp (MP3).
