biographical info
Dan Holbrow is a Regina-based singer-songwriter who plays rough-edged songs about the strangeness and beauty of small things. His recent music combines a raw and simple folk-rock sound with lyrics that point to the weird wonders of everyday life. Some of the songs are pretty, others are ragged, but all are dense and sugar-free. They will grab you if you let them.
He used to be an anthropologist. Anthropologists spend a lot of time thinking about the details of everyday life, and what they might mean. Most of his songs are about this, too.
