biographical info

What began as a solo recording project by singer/songwriter Brenley MacEachern took a fateful diversion when she contacted bassist and sound sculptor Adrian Lawryshyn to record her album. A prolific musical partnership evolved that symbiotically bridged the gap between earth and ether, experimental and pop. The axis by which the two founding polarities of zoebliss are balanced is the current line up of multi-percussionist Andrew Trigg, drummer John Hall, and guitarist and sound experimentalist Michael Rockwood. Together they create an alchemy of both lush and spacious rhythms combined with dream induced ambient guitar that weaves you effortlessly into the depth of the songs. Most recently 'Fiddlechick' Lisa MacIsaac has melded into this quintet providing silken undertones with her violin and rich back-up harmonies with her voice.
