Few stories take 10 years to tell and
this one is just beginning…
In a world where dime a dozen
electro-music bedroom producers fill the expanding blogosphere of the Internet
and flavour of month DIY indie rockers, the reigning stars of this post-iTunes
music industry disappear sooner than their sophomore releases; it is hard to
imagine anyone sticking around for more than 10 years. But Winnipeg-born, Montreal-school’d,
Toronto-based Canadian Bryce Kushnier has been doing just that, exploring the
many faces of his critically-acclaimed vitaminsforyou project for more than a
decade.
Garnering world-wide attention
through the release of his two award winning albums ‘I’m sorry for ever and for
always” (2003) and “The Legend of Bird’s Hill” (2006), as well as highly sought
after limited EP (2004), Kushnier’s vitaminsforyou toured the world alongside
similarly forward-thinking artists playing shows and making festival
appearances throughout North & South America and Europe. With taste-making publications
from USA to Germany and from Japan back to Canada such as the Wire, De:bug,
Stylus, XLR8R,
Grooves, Afterhours,
