Universal Soul have been a part of the Halifax hip hop scene since 1987.
Fiz has a knack for getting the party moving, also known as the baritone of soul his deep voice tickles the soul when heard. Fiz is also an accomplished percussionist and his skills in that area can be heard on his solo Soul track "First Edition".
DJ IV is the newest member of Universal Soul. He brings a tight turntable skill never seen before in someone so young and directly from Atlantic Canada.
Tacktishion, a third generation musician, formerly of the Overlords, brings a vast musical knowledge and arrangement skill usually seen in classical music artist, along with a rough and rugged street groove to this eclectic mix of talent.
