Tropism, from Ontario, Canada, was formed to explore all forms of sound (read: noise) that could be recorded using low quality, low-fi equipment. It was started by "Tnon" after his departure from Orphx, which he co-founded. He was soon joined by "Pleb" who shared what became the Tropism vision of rapidly recorded, improvised noise assaults. After 11+ years in existence, the Tropism catalogue now numbers in excess of 220 entries. Several new releases have emerged in 2006 including "The Eviscorium," "Baphometrorrhagia," "Nazemoor," "transflaysure." 2007 opens with several recordings that document the Reverse Universe including "Suppuration Anxiety," "Septemporal's Narrative" and "Dymentions."
