Trevor MacKenzie, eclectic guitar great, presents glimpse inside the mind driving the wood and strings to frenzy. Session player for many acts, has presented performances on several continents to awe inspired audiences. Born in the historical town of Tara, Ontario, Trevor MacKenzie is genuinely one of the nicest and kindest people you could ever meet. A true dichotomy of a man, in that when coupled with his aptitude for ferocious guitar licks, gritty showmanship and talent for hard riffing the channeled energy presents an aggressively accurate explosive power. His singing voice belies his 6’ Scottish frame and would be more at home in the body of a 400 pound black man from the Delta. In addition to the passion for performing, Trevor has studied acoustics and recording engineering at the renowned school OIART earning a Diploma in Audio Recording Technology. In addition to these talents, Trevor has also mastered the Zen art of turning a guitar into an appendage. To Trevor's credit, he has a long and impressive curriculum vitae including concert dates in Japan, China, Barbados as well as all over Canada and the US.  Some of the other Interesting gigs Trevor has been involved has been involved with include: Barbados Celtic Festival, Summerfolk Festival board of directors, Sound for the Prime Minister of Canada, Hon. Paul Martin Mariposa Festival, Ottawa Folk Festival He has credits on more than 100 CDs for artist and producer.  Some of Trevor's many recording/producing credits include Karen Holgate, Steve Santini, Dead X Dawn, Tyler Wagler, The Dawns, Rajasi,The Funky Truth and more. Trevor obsesses over acquiring new and interesting equipment, as well as maintaining a large collection of vintage and classic guitars that he is not afraid to play with his teeth or throw his guitar in the air from time to time.
