Discovering in 2008 a shared love of cultural anthropology and romantic animal fiction, the members of Thee Ahs set out to subvert the system from within. Until their gong was stolen. This situation proposed several equalities: band+chord=another band; band+drug=band; band+something that isn’t a band=some other band? These prodigies had no doubt something marvelous was going to occur. And it did.
