biographical info

A 3-piece from Vancouver, B.C. Canada formed in 1999 with each member of the band drawing on their own unique influences ranging from Johnny Cash to Social Distortion to Led Zeppelin. The Stag Reels are: Darcy Webb - Vocals / Guitar Rob Lord - Drums Lawrence Weiss - Bass The Stag Reels like the road and want to stay on it till they’re old, bitter, and jaded by fame. Usually caught playing shows in or around B.C. or Alberta The Stag Reels have shared the stage with bands such as D.O.A., The Supersuckers, S.N.F.U. and Nashville Pussy. The new CD "Good Luck" should be out in time for Christmas. It's in mastering as I write this. The debut CD is titled "Dime A Dozen". With a touch of twang Darcy’s guitar wails and screams over Rob’s breakneck beats, backed up by Lawrence on the bass. After shooting an independant-budget video for “7042” was approved for airplay on Muchmusic. Send them an email for any more info - thestagreels@hotmail.com
