biographical info
Initially conceived as a duo project by keyboardist Colin Dodds and guitarist/singer Alex Hudson, the Reasonable Men came into existence in summer 2004. The lineup was expanded in early 2006, with the addition of Evan Henderson on bass, Nathan Holley on drums, and Ryan Krumins on lead guitar.
Audiences all over the Lower Mainland have enjoyed the band's unique style, and they've been dubbed "Beck by way of the Beach Boys". Initially, catchy pop songs supported this claim, but lately it has become somewhat of a misnomer as the boys have been branching out and drawing from diverse influences such as Wilco, Belle and Sebastian, the Dandy Warhols, and Radiohead.
The past few months have been hectic for the Men as they juggled studio time at The Factory Studios with a music video shoot, resulting in the upcoming releases of both an EP and a full-length music video. Needless to say, the band's busy schedule of live shows at local pubs and clubs has been building towards something bigger.
Each member of the band brings a distinct component to the music and this really comes through in their live shows: tight musicianship, catchy hooks, and lots of energy.
