In one form or another, the Oddities have been winning over new fans with their unique style of hip hop since 1996. After a few adjustments, creative disputes, and assessments of each associate’s priorities, the Oddities officially formed in 1998, combining two already established groups in Toronto known as “Dynasty” and “Awkward Why?”. Members of the Oddities released both solo and group projects under pseudonyms such as Claustrophonics, Awkward Why?, and Sprawlic Stream, all which received critical acclaim with no formal distribution.
The Oddities have established themselves as one of the premier underground acts in the country, but now it is time for them to take the next step. Their premier full-length record, The Scenic Route is about to hit the shelves and the ears of listeners worldwide. This album is sure to take the masses by surprise and establish the Oddities as a household name for any music lover.
