The Mountains & The Trees are/is Jon Janes. He plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica, bells, drums, and whistles, hums, and sings. He is often backed-up by the Valleys & Seas Orchestra featuring a collective of friends with a variety of instruments.

I am going to be traveling across country mid-April. This isn’t a tour but I am switching coasts for a short while and am looking forward to experiencing our great country once again. Even though it’s not tour-related I will have my guitar, some CDs, and new tunes with me and I’d love to share them all.
