The Mark Inside has been making music for longer than most highly established bands exist in their entirety. After years of seclusion squirreling their music away on demo tapes and hard-drives they have finally offered up some new material. The meaning is important; the hammered notes chosen; the drums exploding and the words spoken. Their sophomore LP 'Nothing to Admit' exposes the root of the band both intentionally and unintentionally; it's balls and brains trying to make a connection with you. The tracks were recorded in Lincolnshire, England in Chapel Studios (which is a converted Chapel from the 1700's) with Producer Jim Abbiss (Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys) at the helm aiming to capture the bands live-energy. Its loud, its sexy and its well-plotted rock and roll filtered through punk and still comfortable being played by the band in a garage drunk on a six pack of tall cans with smoke filling the room. They explode onto crowds when they play in this 'year of our lord', 2011. Bear witness to 'a band of brothers who were separated at birth, reconvened somehow and now [they] play loud music.' so their twitter profile tells us. The vinyl/digital 'Nothing to Admit' LP is out Nov.1st through MetalBox, Jim Abbiss's own label which he signed them to after recording finished, its out on Sony Music Canada in the Great White North.
