The Luyas are a band from Montreal and they do not really sound much like anything you can put your finger on. The facts are:
Their first record, "Faker Death", came out in August 2007.
The Luyas are former/current members of : Torngat, Miracle Fortress, Bell Orchestre, Arcade Fire, and SS Cardiacs.
In 2010 the band were signed to Dead Oceans and Idée Fixe, and will be releasing their forthcoming album "Too Beautiful to Work" on Feb 22nd in North America, and Feb 21st in Europe.
