biographical info
The Johnson Sisters were formed by accident in 2001 when Mary Beth Carty, Becky Siamon, and Annie Clifford were attending King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Their hilarious and relaxed live shows were popular on the Halifax folk circuit, where played almost every weekend until 2005. Mary Beth now forms internationally touring folk-duo Bette & Wallet, Annie Clifford leads Kingston folk-orchestra The Gertrudes, and Becky Siamon will soon release her solo debut. Exclusively on Radio3, we can hear unreleased tracks from Johnson Sister recording sessions at the Audio Empire studio in Halifax.
