biographical info
The Deviance is here to encourage the notion that reading and interpreting books is FUN! They are also here to get the dance party and comedy started.
A band since the summer of 2003, these fine...uhh sorry, five gentlemen have been hashing out riffs and songs in garages and cottages ever since and have continually tried to figure out what Post-Apocalyptic-Literary-Prog-Core actually sounds like. Ranting, raving, sweat, blood, broken things, and literary intrigue is what fuels the live show. The latest offering from the Put on Your Drinking Cap community label, the band's self-titled interpretation of William Golding's Lord of The Flies, is soon to hit campus radio stations across the country. Recorded at the label's basement studio, the record blends punk rock, prog, and power ballads into an interpretation of the classic novel that makes you really feel like you were buddies with Piggy....poor guy, why'd he have to go?
