The Dancefloor Refraction is: Lucas Kemp, Chris Bjorkquist, Eli Franken, and Brock Wreford.

In the short year and a half they have been together as a band, they already made an impact on the musical landscape in their home town of Stratford, Ontario.

Since the years of the coffee houses and folk festivals, Stratford has been home to musicians and music lovers. If you want to see and hear what young (and not so young) people are calling the Stratford sound, look in the clubs and charity dances and hear the Dancefloor Refraction playing and usually headlining .

Their diverse musical interests, drawing from rock, reggae, jazz, punk and classical have come together in original songs, whose rythms never fail to transform the stage into a dance floor. Their instrumental music strikes a chord with many of the teen 'plus' crowd.

Since their rise through local ‘battles of the band' contests - winning each competition in which they've performed - along with their private and charitable performances they have attracted much attention. A recent demo CD has sold well and can be heard playing from store fronts on the sunny streets of Stratford
