biographical info

The COAL CREEK BOYS, named after a long forgotten mining town just behind Ferine BC, are really a hard country act to pin. With flavors of Traditional, 70’s outlaw, and Alternative Country, with something for every country and rock lover out there, they haven’t had a hard time filling a dance floor yet.
The group had all the angels covered for a true country band, there music and songs are drenched in real, truthful stories of the amazing history of western Canada. It comes across in the upbeat country/blues feel and rings bells of truth, and something real.

Johnpaul Smith, grew up in the ElkValley of British Columbia, an area rich with coal, and history.
Brothers Devin and Dustin Gergel grew up in Southern Alberta on a 3 generation Ranch.
Dino Scavo, who has a degree in music compilation, grew up in Cranbrook Area, studying traditional interments like accordion, mandolin, and Banjo.
And of course, there is back up singer, Ali Stuart, a true southern Alberta Girl…
