New Album - Heartwood - By The Breakmen.
What started out as adventurous bluegrass quartet is becoming a sharply
focused roots music band that owes as much to The Band and Blue Rodeo as it
does to Bill Monroe.
Now, with Heartwood, The
Breakmen plough fertile new ground. The signature sound — working with
producer/engineer Bob Hamilton in a studio in Whitehorse — is still evident,
but you’ll also hear touches of soul, classic r&b, a bit of country and a
solid taste of roots rock and roll.
