Bursting out of the flat, frozen wastelands of Manitoba, The Barrymores are a female fronted six piece power rock/ska combo. Combining a rock n’ roll backbeat with blaring horn lines, sexy vocals and a few doses of reggae and punk; they have begun garnering much deserved praise for their live show and their music alike. Decidedly non-political, The Barrymores leave that work to the newspapers and instead choose to simply bring the rocking good times out in a slew of songs about relationships, friends, love and the drinking that accompanies all of the above. Their youth and vigor make them one of Canada’s hardest working outfits period! This sextet clearly has a blast while on stage together and promises you ska music that stirs the soul then, knocks you right down with a fierce crunch!
