biographical info
Dylan Erlendson grew up in the heart of rural Manitoba. Living out in
the country and being free was always the best feeling in the world.
Also being Metis and growing up in an aboriginal community gave him
great knowledge of nature and life, that has influenced many of his
songs. Taking pride in who he is, in this fast paced lifestyle we all
live in, is something he tries to portray in his songwriting. As time
passed on and his life changed and evolved it was time to move away.
But his heart still, will always rest in the hands of his home town
Eddystone, Manitoba. He then moved to Guelph, Ontario and started
playing gigs as a singer/songwriter. Blending heartfelt lyrics of love
and nature with traditional country music chords. All of his
inspirations have come from his life and who is in his life but some of
his recent inspirations have been bands such as Cuff the Duke, Roger
Marin and Jason Collett. Dylan Recorded his first Ep "Carry Us Away"
with Jordan Valeriote @ Sundown Studio. Capturing a raw, and natural
sound that was true to his music was what he and Jordan set out to do
from the start. Dylans music has continued to grow and flourish as time
passes on and this is just another one of his expressions. Be sure to
check out Dylan Erlendson the next time he passes through your town or
city!
