The Archduke Trio is the alias of Dave Benstead, a Halifax songwriter. Originally from London, Ontario, his former ensembles include The Geeks, The Perks, Johnny Quest and the Rosebushes, Rogers and Hammerhead, The Pickled Beats, Screen Door Slam, Paper Moon and Doc & Betsy.
He enjoys yams and the work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
