The Abbreviations. Abbreviations. Abbreeves. Abbrvs. Andy, Dave, Fraser and Nick have been honing their alt-rock sound under the sometimes smoggy, sometimes sunny skies of Hamilton, Ontario.

Since 2006, Abbreviations have grown as a group, playing shows across Ontario with the likes of Arkells, Grizzly Bear, Huron, Tokyo Police Club, Most Serene Republic and Sloan.

Friends, bands, and fans alike are anticipating the release of the first full length Abbreeves album, entitled Bullfighter, which was recorded at The House of Miracles under the watchful eye of Andy Magoffin.

The Abbreviations. Abbreviations. Abbreeves. Abbrvs. Whether spelt out or abbreviated, Andy, Dave, Fraser and Nick will be playing a club near you in the near future, with a little help from Harvey D (featured on "Take A Shot").

Hi Friends

Fall's coming! Has it already arrived where you are?

In honour of the season, we posted a few show dates. more to come, but for now....

check us in Hamilton at Casbah Lounge on OCTOBER 27th

 or in London at Grooves Instore on NOVEMBER 5th.

We're also playing a house show at a "secret" location in London on NOVEMBER 6th.
