THAT GIRL WITH DARK EYES
Originating from San Francisco, CA and best known as the drummer for Mint Records indie-pop band Bella , Tiffany Garrett Sotomayor has taken on a new name, THAT GIRL WIRH DARK EYES. Just one girl playing every instrument, writing, arranging, and producing. TGWDE is an energetic mix of electro, pop, and funk. Most easily compared to artists like Yelle, Goldfrapp and Chromeo however, she doesn't write within just one genre. Her live performances are highly animated, energetic and full of visuals. She's had the privilege to collaborated with artists such as Roddy Bottum (Faith No More), John Collins (The New Pornographers), producers Pascal Gabriel (Ladyhawke, Goldfrapp) and JC/DC (Tegan and Sara). She's toured all over North America, playing festivals such as SXSW, Canadian Music Week, CMJ (NYC) and performing with groups like The New Pornographers, MGMT, Phoenix, !!!, The Breeders and more.
TGWDE is currently writing and recording her debut album in Barcelona, Spain.
