biographical info
In 2010 Simon Lock, a long retired house Deejay, mainly influenced by early house, brit pop, new wave and today’s indie, sought out a music production partner to compliment his dance based ideologies. Lock’s axiom for his music has always been “it’s okay to feel, to party, to dance, to rave, to chill out, to scold, to breakup, to feel better, to fall in love again, to lose oneself and remember what reckless abandon feels like.”
After a few line-up changes in 2010, Simon found Isis Graham; also a house Deejay, a dubstep producer and solo singer. Isis brought new electricity to the project with her diverse electronic music back ground and vocal style. The two had one common interest in music; let’s create straight up dance music without the pretentiousness, the kind that you don’t need a VIP pass to get into. In the fall of 2011, the two recruited Vancouver based singer/songwriter/bassist Adam Gasten and Terrace was finally born.
The three have finished working on their debut EP “Pollen” which is set to release in November, 2011 and are currently working on their full length album to be released in the spring, 2012.
